Walking Can Not Only Raise Money for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research but Actually Reduce the Risk of Developing it.

The 2013 New York Avon walk for breast cancer raised 6.7 million dollars to advance access to care and find a cure for breast cancer. I was able to provide some foot care guidance to a group of 18 women who participated and raised 57 thousand dollars for the cause. My focus was on blister prevention due to the high mileage they were walking.
